One of our fantastic reps, Joe, has recently taken runners to the Medoc Marathon. From the race itself, to the surrouding sights, check out Joe’s behind the scenes access to the 2016 Medoc Marathon. After arriving into Bordeaux airport, I got the direct train from the airport straight to the centre of Bordeaux, which takes 30 minutes and is only 12.30 Euro return. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the river, which is ideal for pre marathon training. The hotel we stay in is one of my favourites and I always look forward to staying there. Its clean, friendly, the staff are so welcoming and right in the centre of Bordeaux. Excellent for the marathon itself, shopping and restaurants. The Marathon itself once again was brilliantly organised, on time and delivered over 8000 runners 42km of pure enjoyment including lots of wine!
