Every single stage of the 3 Grand Tours and 5 Monuments

THE BIGGEST EVENTS ON THE PROFESSIONAL CYCLING CALENDAR ARE:

  1. The 3 Grand Tours – 3 week multi-day tours; Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, Vuelta a Espana
  2. The 5 Monuments of Cycling – Milan San Remo,  Tour of Flanders, Paris – Roubaix, Liege Bastogne Liege, and finally Giro Lombardia

Sports Tours International was born in 1973 and is therefore 45 years old in 2018. To mark this occasion we will take you to all of the 73 stages of the biggest events on the UCI calendar, namely the 5 Monuments and the 3 Grand Tours of Cycling.

How do we get to 73 stages I hear you ask as there are 68 stages during the 3 Grand Tours and 5 Monuments. We add 5 to this because you can ride the 5 Monuments with us in 2018 and 2019 for your very own slice of cycling history! Read more below.

2019 Milan San Remo

The Milan Sanremo always offers early season excitement. The 2018 Milan San Remo was won by the Shark of Medina, Vincenzo Nibali. As official tour operator of the 2019 Milan San Remo we can offer you some fantastic special VIP access options which you can purchase as stand alone tickets without hotel or travel package:

The 2018 Gran Fondo Milan San Remo

Amateurs can also ride the full Milan San Remo distance during the official Gran Fondo Milan San Remo in June. If you would like to ride this classic race in nice weather in June 2018 (hopefully), sign up here now.

The 2019 Tour of Flanders

The 2019 Tour of Flanders weekend offers you the opportunity to ride in the Tour of Flanders RVV Cyclo amateur event called We Ride Flanders on Saturday before watching the Pros tackle the same roads on the Sunday. We facilitate taking part in all RVV Cyclo-Sportive distances including the longer distances which both start in Antwerp.

We also offer a fantastic selection of VIP and hospitality options for Tour of Flanders pro Race day which can be booked as ticket only with your travel package or with a Ghent city centre hotel for 1, 2 or 3 nights (transport to start and finish of hospitality included if booked with our hotel).

2019 Paris – Roubaix

“The queen of classics” is a formidable and exciting race, considered by many to be the best one day classic cycling race to watch. The start of the ‘Hell of the North’ is in Compiegne and the finish is in the famous Roubaix Velodrome. The 2019 Paris-Roubaix Challenge in April 2019 gives you the opportunity to ride nearly the full route including all of the cobbles of one of the oldest and most significant of cycling events, the day before the Pro race. The 2019 Roubaix Challenge event will be held the day before the Paris Roubaix Pro Race and you will do a lap on the Roubaix Veldorome when you finish and you can even have a shower in the famous Roubaix Velodrome showers if you want to.

Paris – Roubaix spectator options

We have a great weekend programme in store for you if you want to come and spend the weekend in Roubaix with us. Liege Bastogne Liege

Liege Bastogne Liege is nicknamed ‘La Doyenne’ as it is the oldest race out of the classics which is still taking place today. Don’t be fooled and think that Belgium is flat. This race takes in plenty of steep, hilly sections and makes for some dramatic racing. Liege-Bastogne-Liege is the oldest of cycling’s classics. First run in 1892, Liege Bastogne Liege, or LBL as it is also called, takes you through the hilliest parts of Belgium, along routes typical of the Ardennes. The full distance amateur event is definitely one of the toughest one-day cycling events that you can take part in.

The search is over! It is now time to announce who has won the Sports Tours International, Holidays Fit for Heroes 2020 Christmas campaign!
