Up & Running has been an integral nationwide organisation for over 25 years and for three key running events in 2018, they will be partnering with leading mass participation running event organisers, Sports Tours International.

This years editions of the famous multi-day Tour of Tameside, UKFast We Love Manchester 10k and UKFast City of Salford 10k will officially partner with Up & Running and the sports retailer will be on hand to share their knowledge with training hints and tips, product reviews, special offers and experiential offerings on the race days.

Kevin Harmer, UK Events & Sponsorship Manager said; “Sports Tours International are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading running retailers. We here at Sports Tours International only work with businesses and organisations which we feel will improve our offering and add to the experiences of our participants and we firmly believe that that Up & Running fit that bill”.
Jonathan Midwood, Up & Running General Manager said; “Up & Running is committed to supporting runners throughout their training and all the way to the finish line, so we are delighted to be sponsoring these key events in the North West this year”.

With stores nationwide, and with over 25 years experience of getting the right shoes on the right feet, Up & Running is now building its own running community through its network of Social Run Groups (SRG).

Up & Running’s in-store experts are here to help find the right shoes and clothing, and on hand to answer training and race day questions through its knowledgeable and passionate staff.
The fourth edition of the modern-day Tour of Tameside takes place between the 14th and 17th of June with runners able to run any of the single days or the full four days if they wish.

Both the UKFast We Love Manchester 10k and UKFast City of Salford 10k’s are filling up quick with many runners choosing to participate in the races that take place in July and September.

The search is over! It is now time to announce who has won the Sports Tours International, Holidays Fit for Heroes 2020 Christmas campaign! But, before we do, we want to take the time to thank each and every person who nominated either themselves, or their loved ones into the competition. We have been absolutely blown away by the responses, and humbled reading each of your stories.
