An exclusive, high quality, Castelli cycling jersey is included with your cycling trip with Sports Tours International in 2019 and 2020 (spectator tours and hospitality tickets excluded). Castelli and Sports Tours International share many values and objectives and we are very often attending the same cycling and triathlon events like the Giro d’Italia and the Maratona dles Dolomites for example.

Castelli is a brand with an enormous cycling heritage. The instantly recognisable Scorpion logo has been seen on the shoulders of champions over the decades. The story of Castelli stretches back more than 134 years to a small tailoring shop in Milan founded by Vittore Gianni. The Company took a definitive turn toward cycling in 1935, when one Armando Castelli became a part of Gianni’s staff.

The Castelli brand reinvented itself with the remarkable success of the revolutionary Gabba jersey after 2010. Just like what you see happening now in Marathon running with the Nike Zoom Fly shoes as worn by Eliud Kipchoge, professional riders chose the Gabba jersey even though they were not sponsored by the brand, just because it was that good. Prior to this Castelli lead the way by inventing the lycra cycling shorts in 1977, the first coloured shorts in 1981, plus sublimated jerseys and the first windproof jersey (worn by Bernard Hinault) in 1982.

The Castelli Sports Tours International jersey featured in the Castelli collection as the Velocissimo jersey and had a retail price of £70.00. It is also called the Team Jersey in the Castelli custom range.

The search is over! It is now time to announce who has won the Sports Tours International, Holidays Fit for Heroes 2020 Christmas campaign! But, before we do, we want to take the time to thank each and every person who nominated either themselves, or their loved ones into the competition.
