Get Fit for the City of Preston 10k!

Sports Tours International is delighted to announce JD Gyms Preston as the official title sponsor of this years City of Preston 10k.

Taking place on Sunday September 30th, the race returns to the city after uncertainty surrounding its future. Sports Tours International, a leading mass participation event organiser based in the North West who deliver the Tour of Tameside, UKFast We Love Manchester 10k, UKFast City of Salford 10k and Alder Hey Children’s Charity 10k are thrilled to take over and drive forward the well supported race, formerly known as the Run Preston 10k.

Kevin Harmer, UK Events & Sponsorship Manager for Sports Tours International said;

“With our experience in delivering a number of mass participation running events across the North West, we learnt of the need for a new delivery partner to come in and take control of the event. After meeting with Preston City Council, it was obvious to see the potential in taking over the race and the request from them to have an experienced events team to come on board. We are really excited to be the new owners of the race and are please to announce JD Gyms Preston as the official title sponsor for 2018.”

Danny Petricco, General Manager of JD Gyms Preston said;

“We are delighted to be sponsoring the City of Preston 10k 2018. It’s a fantastic event that we have watched many times go through the centre of the City and so we are really pleased to be getting involved. We are proud of our close links with the local community of Preston and will be cheering on all of the participants as they run through the City.”

The search is over! It is now time to announce who has won the Sports Tours International, Holidays Fit for Heroes 2020 Christmas campaign! But, before we do, we want to take the time to thank each and every person who nominated either themselves, or their loved ones into the competition.
