Included with all of our tours to the stages of the 2019 Vuelta are some exclusive VIP hospitality experiences for both cyclists and spectators. Our experienced staff members are on hand to guide you every step or pedal-stroke along the way whilst you can enjoy the every best of what the 2019 Vuelta has to offer. You will be part of a small group and we will transfer you between the key elements of your tour. All of our tours include well-placed hotels, breakfast, and evening meals at some hotels together with the official 2019 Vuelta road book and a special Sports Tours International cycling jersey made by Santini.

Each of our tours includes amazing VIP elements, including exclusive access to the Start Village, riding on the stage route and crossing the official finish line as well as finish hospitality. You will go where no other member of the public will have access.

VIP Start Village access

One of the best experiences for obtaining an insight behind the scenes of the biggest show on earth. Wear your VIP access badge and mill around the official Vuelta a Espana start village with celebrities, journalists and of course the riders and their entourage.

The 2019 Vuelta entourage and organisation travel around with the riders. The team busses park within an enclosed and restricted area. An expo type village is created at the start of each one of the stages. It is usually here that everyone who is linked in any way to the Vuelta like TV, sponsors and celebrities from the cycling world will show themselves. Also local companies will be keen to show off their wares. Your VIP passes will give you access to the village and the rider’s paddock. If you into collecting autographs, this is the best place for it.

Ride across the finish line experience

You will ride on the stage route 2.5/3 hours ahead of the peloton, before crossing the finish line in front of cheering cycling fans. Then stand on the Winner’s podium to have your picture taken and take home your very own slice of Vuelta history. The amount of the route you will ride, varies from stage to stage according to logistics. This is like having your very own Etapa de la Vuelta! Spectators can also join in with the podium pictures and a guided visit of the technical area (TV and Media, anti-doping, podium etc.)

VIP Finishline hospitality

At the finish, you will go to the exclusive VIP hospitality area located very close to the final stretch of the course with a view of the finish. Everyone will be served with drinks and snacks and there are are TVs to watch the LIVE action as it unfolds. After watching the finish, you will celebrate the victory with Champagne as riders arrive!

Want to see the Vuelta but can’t get a week off? Fancy a weekend break? The 3 week La Vuelta a Espana Gran cycling Tour will end in Madrid in September 2019. Like the Tour de France, the final day has been contested in the late afternoon/ evening in recent years. There has also been a women’s race ahead of the arrival of the riders of the Vuelta, again just like the Tour de France.
