A Message From Sports Tours International CEO Chris Bird; 

Sports Tours International was founded in 1973, by the Irish international marathon runner Vince Reagan. Vince taught us all, that above all else, we must give our customers as many opportunities to have an experience of a lifetime as possible.

47 years later, we continue to follow those wise words handed down by Vince.

Today, as the world faces a health crisis, and collectively we face an unprecedented disruption of all of our lives, families, businesses and services; we at Sports Tours International, Club La Santa UK & Ireland, Sports Travel International Ireland, Sports Tours International France, Freewheel Holidays, and Whereabouts Holidays are continuing to work, remotely, but with the same due care and attention as we would on any normal day.

Our focus is firmly fixed on you, our customers. We are here to answer questions, advise on changes to your holidays, ensure you know your rights, and to make available all the holiday and event experiences that will be up and running later in the year and 2021.

So you do not miss anything, please keep in touch with us via our websites, social media platforms, email newsletter ( you can sign up online and via the footer of any page on our website), and also look out for competitions, new products, new content showcasing our greatest memories and experiences, plus helpful tips and advice to keep you happy and healthy at home.

Over the years we have faced many challenges due to recessions, terrorism, and the weather, but COVID-19 is the biggest challenge yet.

We will get through this, and the Sports Tours International Group will continue to be at the very heart of creating the world’s largest active community.

Holidays Fit For Heroes – Results Announcement

The search is over! It is now time to announce who has won the Sports Tours International, Holidays Fit for Heroes 2020 Christmas campaign! But, before we do, we want to take the time to thank each and every person who nominated either themselves, or their loved ones into the competition. We have been absolutely blown away by the responses, and humbled reading each of your stories. Reykjavik Marathon – An Odyssey
